I think the quality of picture on just about all the 7JP4 sets is conditioned on how good the CRT is. The Sentinal sets are pretty easy to work on, I don't remember any "gotcha's" when I worked on them. I bought my 400 because it came from an old collector who probably bought it from the original owner while it was still in operation, 40 years ago. Chuck
