When I ship, I always try to make it abuse-proof. So far, I have shipped a dozen or more sets here and to Germany and Japan. I recently shipped 3 RCA 630-type sets to various collectors within the USA by FedEx Ground. I charge $20 plus cost of shipping, which is a total of about $85 each from Los Angeles to the East Coast. The $20 is to cover brand-new correctly sized boxes and materials. I remove the picture tube and pack it separately. I warn in the ad that shipping is expensive, and I usually say $50-$100 in the USA. Having done that, I haven't run into any hassles from buyers on shipping.
