Oh, i feel good to discover this kind of hobby Sandy. I'm affraid i will also be,Tatering Chips, because you guess it right man ...i'm working on onother catch..By the way, can you suggest of onother model thats better sounding than k731? If there is.

OK, according to my schematic, the B+ voltages on the 7M07 chassis version of the K731 the "high B+ at 40mfd cap is 139 volts. after the 220 resistor where it connects to the 60 mfd section of the cap it B+ is 104 volts. At the 80 mfd section the voltage should be 102. And as pointed out earlier in the thread, that assumes a 117 volt line voltage.
