The Special & Super shared a chassis, whle the Deluxe had it's own more technically advanced chassis. The RCA CTC-7 receivers were the "MARK" series all "Deluxe" models and, like the CTC-5 sets, each model had it's own name like Bill's "Sanford." A bit more formal in those days.
