Ge E105 Transformer
Wanted Transformer wanted a GE Power transformer for my GE E105 anyone know where i can obtain one thank you from Radioman56

This ain't gonna be easy... schematic is at http://techpreservation.dyndns.org/s...l_Electric.htm
The schematic doesn't give voltages, but you'll probably want 700VCT @ 100 mA, 5V @ 2A, and 6.3V @ 3.5A. Unless you can find a transformer from an E101, 105, or 106, you'll need a 24V transformer for the "Colorama" dial lights. Have you tried Gary at oldradioparts.com? If you want to try a sub, it's easier to work with the wrong voltage than the wrong physical size... what are the dimensions? |

There was somebody on the Antique Radio Forum that had a Colorama chassis I got an antenna coil from. I think it was the 10-tube chassis. You might post a message there and see if he still has the chassis and the transformer. BTW, I restored a 9-tube Colorama set a while back and have a website about the restoration.
