Jackson TV on eBay

Hey folks, second time around for this Jackson.

I'm surprised someone didn't pick this oddball name up the first time.

Did Jackson make their own stuff or is it a rebrand?

Damned if that doesn't look like a rebadged Philco, even the knobs are the same....

Dare I say it?

If you had 4 more then you'd have "Jackson 5"!

Am wondering if that wasn't some custom conversion job done locally, that name plate could be easily fabricated.

I have one of those Jacksons, looks identical, except for the knobs and that mine is missing the last couple inches of the crt neck. The knobs on the ebay version look just like the ones on my Triumph Transview, which I think is a Bendix. 'Course those knobs do show up all over the place. Sorry I have no photo - the set is buried. It never did much for me one way or the other, just came with a freebee garage cleanout.
