Motorola at Olde Time Auction, Kingsport TN

When dropping off some estate "junque" at Olde Time Auction (Kingsport, Tennessee)I noticed they had an old (est 1947) Motorola 10 inch TV-radio-record player unit on the floor for tonight's auction (9/29/09). The turntable was missing but everything else seemed to be there. The cabinet was scuffed and dirty but otherwise seemed to be sound. It was probably something like a VTF-102. See http://www.tvhistory.tv/1946-49-MOTOROLA.htm

I'm not collecting anything anymore- wife's orders.

I might add that I have never seen items like this go for more than a few dollars. Not much interest in old electronics with the usual crowd there. Sale starts about 5:30 PM, sometimes a bit later.
