HI from michigan
anyone know of anyone that could have a look at my 1951 zenith porthole TV. Not sure of the issues that it is having, powers up, tube lights but can not get a signal.
Anyone one that can have a look at it for me in Michigan I know nothing about vintage electronics. Thanks Don 810 922 8501 |

Welcome to VK!
That is one nice Zenith there and you will likely find someone here that can help you. That model must have a name. Good Luck!

If its never been restored, it will need a full re-cap, at the least.

Good looking set ! Good to have you-
There are a few porthole tv owners here, Once you start in working on it, I'm sure if you post a question people will write back..... Good Luck with it... .

Hi Rainner - I just wanted to say welcome and what a cool tv. Some people fall over themselves to have a round tube tv. That's a really good looking one, and I'm not typically attracted to these really older round sets. Best wishes here and on your projects. - Phil
