1940's Motorola VT-105 on Ebay...Look what was done..

This awesome styled Motorola on ebay was fixed with later model tv guts but mounted on the original chassis but original parts are missing. Cabinet looks decent and the back cover is there along with three of the four knobs, good restoration project!http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Motorola...QQcmdZViewItem

I think its kinda cool that he kept it operational and at least left what he had original in there. Even if its not all original at least its not a fish tank.

I'm bidding on this one since it's within driving distance.
The chassis is pretty hacked up though, the yoke and tube mount is gone as well as some of the filter caps!
I need to ask the seller what parts are available.

$152 and one of us got it! Not a bad deal if you have the parts to fix it.

Pretty good deal on that set! Cabinet was pretty good and all knobs are there, those knobs are difficult to find! Way cheaper than I paid for mine on ebay!!

I've been trying to get a VT-105 for 4-5 years now. It has been shipped already and shipping to Virginia was only $42. I'm probably unusal in that I collect TVs for their cabinet style. I like the TVs to have all the parts but they don't have to work. I asked the seller about the power supply and tuner but no reply yet.
