Cool Saved another set from the landfill

Damn curbside TVs just seem to keep popping up

Was out yesterday when I spied a suspicious looking cabinet in the garbage, and promptly pulled over. Had a hell of a time loading this monster into the CRV by myself (ow my achin back!), but she's a 1950 Hallicrafters with a big brass bezel, about a 12" rectangular screen. This SOB is HUGE! It's got the built in record player on the left, and double half doors on the front. I'll post pics when I get home, I had about enough time to load it in the garage before the rain hit. So, we saved another one!

Was a good night for garbage. Got a Honda moped too

nice score!
hallicrafters sets arent real common.
i lucked onto a t55 last year for free at a yard sale.
they werte closing and i got there just in time
got the halli,a sony kv-5000, and a couple of aa5 all for free.
these folks were heading to the dump.
