Can Someone Identify this Zenith Console Radio? Approximate Value?

Looks like a 1941 model... the number is usually stamped on the back edge of the cabinet in white ink. There may also be a chassis number. The model number will something like 10S567 or 8S563 - the first number is the number of tube, S means shortwave, 5 is for 1941, and the last two digits identify the cabinet etc.
The bad news... it's worth less than half of what the '30s models are... maybe a few hundred at best (but condition looks so-so... probably less) The '40s models used rubber wiring that MUST be replaced - all of it - before it's safe to use. Also, not all that beautiful veneer is real... some of it is printed and can't be refinished if it's damaged. |

i think a lot of these console radios came down in price . They down seem to fetch a lot of money.
