What TV do you have the Superb owl on?

No vintage fun at all here... I am stuck in my computer room, so I am just looking at the wall! Cheapie Optoma DLP Projector and Zenith DTV box parked on top of my printer.

I'm not watching it now, but if I do watch any of the Superb owl tonight it will likely be on my RCA CTC185A7 19" TV, nothing vintage, as I have no vintage TVs here except my 1995 Zenith Sentry 2. Not sure if the latter can be counted as vintage, as it was made just 15.5 years ago. Still works as well as when I got it.
Keeping it for standby use if and when the RCA goes belly-up (which I don't expect for quite a while, as the CTC185 chassis will reportedly run for years once the onboard tuner problems are resolved).Hmmm. I wonder if the Superb owl is being streamed online. If so (it probably is at FOX.com), I may try watching it on my computer, just for the heck of it.

I have it on my 44LCX65 Panasonic LCD HDTV Projo set. I DO have to admit...I have gotten the "HDTV bug" myself over the last few months, watching shows like Hawaii Five-O and Blue bloods on this set-- using it OTA. RTV, COOLTV, and THIS look ok in NON-HD on it too.
The set was a "curb "shopping find" about a year ago. Just needed an air filter cleaning-- and a PROM update a couple months ago--(which I did for free), works like new. Put a new bulb in as a JIC last Thanksgiving or so. Total outlay for a 44"HDTV set--with MUCH better sound than nearly any flat--panel--under $100. Of course...I still love the vintage sets--nothing is going to change that. |

I watched it on a '79 GE "XB" chassis 12" B&W with a digitalstream DTV converter. Actually, I didn't really watch it. It was just on while I was working on a radio.

I don't have a 'superb' owl, but if I did I'd make it fetch me some beer!
Couldn't resist. :p 65" Mitsu DLP here, game looked great!

I combined work with play and tuned in while messing with my RA-113. The photo's a little deceptive, though. The DuMont spent most of that time propped on its side undergoing surgery while I listened to the game on my crummy little shop TV.
