Wow, thanks old coot88!

And here is a short clip from Veggie Tales. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Wow, that looks great, now you just got to get the color working...

Seriously though, you did a nice meticulous job restoring that chassis.

Time to do the knobs. These came with a lot of white gunk on them. What can I use to clean them? I remember Bob Anderson talking about this in 1 of his videos but can't remember which one.

Also I have to polish the bright brass centers. After that I'm thinking of spray painting some clear over the knobs to preserve them.

I cleaned and polished the brass brights on the knobs. To polish the brights, I used some Mothers and then Gorhams silver polish. I cut a Q-Tip in half and chucked it up in my drill press. Then I added some compound then polished the brights. I went through several Q-Tips for each knob. When done. I did a little hand polishing with a soft rag and Gorhams to even out the shine.

Time to repair the cabinet.

I patched in some mahogany veneer in the chipped out places. These were all on the one side.

After sanding them smooth, I added some grain filler which is drying right now.
