Looks like an RCA 630 chassis in a private label cabinet? Whatever, it's a good deal for $50! |

That Ansley is UGLY but very interesting. Anyone ever heard of Ansley? Not I.
To me the set looks very commercial/industrial if you will, almost military. Certainly not the more typical furniture look of console sets. I wonder if thats one of those sets designed for a hospital or motel room... |

I have an Ansley radio, a small chairside with built in phonograph, prewar. I have seen another Ansley from the same era. They were built in NJ and seem to be reasonably well made.

Bring your tube checker with you, closer to their "move date", & then offer 'em a duck for it: http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/clt/408888304.html

Nice looking set, too bad the CRT has a brightner on it.

Huge Curtis Mathes combo, it says 1952, but it's more like 1962. It's in good condition though, there's even a picture of it working.

Might even be 1972.... no one was making rectangular CRTs in 1962.

I am not sure about that. To the best of my knowledge, truly rectangular CRTs started to come off the assembly lines in 1960.
