Just got some more Quasars (Matsushita) from the recycling days...a small pink plastic color portable and a 1981 digital tuning console. What's interesting is that even on the Matsushita made sets, they keep the Motorola terminology for the color controls (hue and intensity) rather than the more common tint and color.
Zenith used "hue" too on earlier sets, and the amplitude is sometimes called color level or chroma level. Also I think Sony to this day still calls the phase control "hue".

I was pretty young (early 80s) when I went to a flea market with my dad and saw a Quasar console. Later I walked past the backside and was very confused because it said in big, bold letters "MOTOROLA" and I had not yet made the connection between the two. It was years before I figured it out-I thought the guy just put the back off another set on this one.

In the spring I got a Zenith 25MC33 from a used furniture store in WV (gave it to me) and I'm pretty sure I saw a Quasar in the back (recognized it by the push buttons) he would probably give it away, too.
