It doesn't do any good to replace the line cord with one with a polarized plug unless you rewire the switch to switch the hot side of the line.

Haaa.... all fixed! The new cap was much larger so I had to improvise:

I get my caps from Joe at www.wjoe.com. NO MINIMUM order. He also stocks lots of other parts. If you are new to the hobby, He has a tutorial re caps.
