I couldn't agree more. I just saw the pictures of that "restoration" and couldn't believe what a mess it is. I'd be afraid to use anything plugged into 117-volt AC with wiring like that.

MCM Electronics sells them, and I am sure many of the restoration specialists (Just Radios, Antique Electronic Supply, etc.) have them as well.
