Regarding that Stereodeon, it seems like one did sell for $4000 at an auction of "The Astor Collection." Well, Brandon, Mississippi is a far cry from New England society circles. I also saw an ad for one that was electrically restored for $1500. I'm not sure the CL one is even complete, and that BSR changer sure isn't original!

I started to send them a message, asking them didn't they really mean $15.00; but, I'm not in the mood for a cussing today.

The 1937 Majestic 1250 is a nice radio. 11 tubes (plus the tuning eye), it was near TOTL for Majestic in 1937. But it isn't as rare as the seller seems to believe. I have a 1936 Majestic which I've only ever seen one of, the 1250 has info out there about it (I found pictures of two different ones within 60 seconds of seeing his ad). Not as many tubes in the one I have, but a much nicer looking cabinet. Mine was in about the same shape as his and I got it for $50 from some guy who had it in his garage (it's in my garage now awaiting a rainy day). Anyway, $1200 might seem believeable were the thing completely refinished, recapped etc, etc and brought back to life like it was brand new. He won't even get an offer.
