The owner said the color bars and cross hatch patterns were being played back from a VHS video tape, rather than a standard piece of test equipment, hence the hooking and wave. Also, he said the actress is Helen Mirin in makeup.

Whoever did the convergence on that one must know tricks I've never heard of. I have slaved over converging my two CTC-11s and neither one looks quite that good on the far edges.

Someone asked a question if the phosphors were replaced when the tube was rebuilt. In rebuilding a color tube, the phosphors are impossible to replace due to the fact that you cannot take the tube apart that far without ruining it.
