8213 West Summerdale. I still have it memorized from when I lived in Chicago and all that happened.

Remember the Killer Klowns from Outer Space? That was a spooky movie, even if it was crap.

Twenty years ago is a bit before my time, so my best guess as to who is the one clown, that every one is disgusted with, would be John Wayne Gaysey(probably misspelled). Who is the only clown I can think of that is hated by all sane people (including me).

Gacy's story was at once both fascinating & unbelievably horrible. What gets me is that SOMEWHERE out there is another monster like him waiting to be triggered...

"Everybody loves a clown, so why don't you?"

Okay, guess I gotta read Gacy's wikipedia page now....

I first read about Gacy on Amiannoying.com years ago and recently have found in my beta tape collection a news report of Gacy's death sentence in 1994 and Gacy's paintings being featured in an art gallery which had mixed criticism on both positive and negative sides of the scale. So I know the basic outline of him and the horrific things he did.

The reporter who first broke the story of that creeps paintings being sold was a then unknown radio man named Mark Belling. That story put him on the map as a reporter and he now does a conservative radio talk show in Milwaukee that I listen to sporatically.
If he hadn't mentioned that he broke that story I don't think I'd have had a clue who clown was.

I don't think Clowns in the early 50's had developed the psycho-sexual proclivities they would in the 70's, therefore they were not percieved as a threat to children, hence their use in a television ad.
