Sounds like a good trade to me. I like the Olds much more than the Buick. Actually, it sounds like it is in the same shape my Pacer was in-driveable, but you'll need to spend your weekends dumping parts into it-which is just what I was taking a break from right now....time to rip out the Pacer dashboard now....

Does the radio in that Olds come out as a unit with the speaker in it?
IIRC, those have loctal tubes.
