Seems like I remember a good deal of items made at that time period had that same "Weird Angular" look to 'em.... "Googie", I think they called it.. There was a house on the way to Kingsport that fairly "SCREAMS" "Late Fifties"- The roof is pitched backwards-Higher on the ends than in the middle, columns splayed outwards from the bases toward the roof...
