You might or should get a useable picture with it , if you lack contrast you will know why , the one I mentioned with the brightener will show a watchable picture without the brightener but looks better with it on , more contrast and brighter image

Congratulations on your DuMont find!

I would love to find a set with the built-in record changer again.

I had a Zenith TV with the Cobra changer in high school, and my dad gave it away when I went to college! I was sick over this...

There was a Dumont in a Junque Shoppe in Knoxville I remember seeing years ago, long B4 I knew much about TVs...Seems like it had a built-it FM radio, too..

Every postwar Du Mont TV set made prior to 1952 tuned FM. The FM radio band lies within the large separation between channels 6 and 7.
