I've done that, myself. I used hot melt glue to hold them together.
BTW, I looked up the entry of a A-B supply, on the British Antique Wireless website. It seems to be a novel approach to the "B" circuitry, using all low priced, readily available components.
The "A" supply, looks like, the way I would do it.

Hehehehe Yep, thats what i meant by is gonna look silly THIS IS what i have planned for the testing phase of this radio

Hello diesel jeep,
Dale is 14 miles west of Appleton on state road 96. Just a small town about 2700 people in the township.

My home is in Cedar Grove, southern Sheboygan county. Population, 2100, Village status.
