I never used the plastic yellow caps, yet. I'm still using caps I bought in the 90's. As for electrolytics I use new ones, not more than a year or two old.

The other night while shelving some sam's folders, I noticed Set 99A has a schematic of the Garod 1244G series sets in it. It's in folder number 5. I looked in some of my Photofact indexes and not one of them lists the Garod 1244G series chassis in 99A-5. The schematic in set 99A-5 is indentical to what I found in the Garod 1244G I recapped/repaired. There are no wiring errors like the Riders has for this set.

station selector might have been on the set when I got it ?
