Get some measurements. And if it don't fit, pull the chassis and CRT (which are 75% of the weight), put them in the back seat, and tie the empty cabinet to the roof with a blanket between it and the roof to prevent scratches and dents.

But seriously, at this point in time, what are the odds that the set hasn't been stripped by copper collectors, necked, totally ruined by weather or hauled off to the dump?
