German radios for U.S.A. export?

Curiosity: din anyone seen any german radio for export which could be fitted with a remote control? I've seen one old comercial for a "Grunding", but there where export versions? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jr4CSZRVuuo

Some years back ARC (Antique Radio Classified) magazine had a write up on a high end SABA import model table radio that had remote control....Been quite a while since I read that so the details are hazy.

If it were not for that SABA and some Magnavox consoles there probably would have been no American market audio gear with wireless remote control.
