Hello All.
Yes indeed it is a heavy little set. Still, it does have a handle and telescopic aerials, so must be considered as a portable.

The thumb-wheel tuning is continuous. It is connected to a miniature turret tuner.
Note that there are two station indicator wheels, one is viewed from the top, and the other can be viewed from the front whilst sitting down.

The set is switched on or off by opening or closing the speaker cover at the top.
