The atari cable is thicker, but it's better shielded than those thin RF ones..

I don't know what they are called, but from what I can see, that cable is wired directly to the tuner.. So if you get the cable and F-Adapter in that auction, and the other adapter that makes it a solid end, it can be wired directly to any regular 75 ohm device.. That plug on the TV, next to the twin lead terminals, is only merely a built in balun it appears.

Hey gang, just an update...
Found another tuner cable to use instead of repairing the broken one. :)

The one above looks correct... Those are very common, and were used in various configurations right up through the 2000s in Sony sets. (The Sony late model ones were only 2" long, and were male RCA to female F).
