What is your source? (DVD player, VCR, etc.?)

A low grade DVD player and its hooked up by jumper cables to a 300ohm coax converter. So plenty of areas for interference. I'm going to hook up a digital converter box straight to the tuner and see if it's better. Btw, if anyone needs any Predicta parts or tips on restoration, I would definitely recommend Larry Whitlock. He's been restoring predictas for years and has extensive knowledge on these complicated sets. He's given me a lot of invaluable help with the last three predictas I've restored!

+1 for Larry Whitlock!

Ok guys, I think I'm calling this Predicta done! I'm going to get some new brass plated screws that look like the originals, to hold the back on. The originals are a little rusty. Also I'm waiting on a replacement on/off volume on from Larry.

It looks like my cheap DVD player caused the interference I saw. I changed to a Digital converter box and get a perfect picture!

I forgot a picture of the set with the converter box.
