Has anyone ever tried to clean the tape of stuff it has collected since ya had it??

I dont know wheather running water over the tape would totally ruin it but seems like you could get it back to NEW status and use it more :)

Either that or take a brush and gently clean it off (You'd have to take it out of the case of course)
