I jsut happened to stumble on another antique Zenith on CL.. contacted the seller.. and he instantly got back to me. He works near me, and said he would bring it into work with him so I could have a look... and.. it works!!! unrestored...
He has it listed by the chassis number, but it's an 8S563.. It also has eht wavemagnet rotor still in it
