I got my setchell-carlson TV for 20 bucks off craigslist. It was spattered with white paint specks. I spent 6 or 7 hours with an exacto knife lifting off the specks. Success though!
My set worked great with the origional caps, but one went and took out the vertical sweep. Recapping fixed everything.
These sets are not common, and have a cool style.
