Yah, that does look a lot like a Panasonic......

The first place I worked at had repair contracts with LLoyds, and Yorks, we worked on thousands
of their clock radios.... They were digital though....
And some of the Yorks sets had a cassette, it had play, and FF, the supply reel
"floated" nothing there..... That thing was cheap.....
Cassettes were side-slide in, kinda like in a car radio.... but cheap....

They were stereo, and on the radio they did sound pretty good.... It was early 80's
I think each decade Cheapness is re-defined and achieves new lows....

Like Sneakers... Stuff from Korea, Honduras, and Malaysia were not so bad, now that
most are coming from China today..... Glue seems to be getting worse continent, by continent.....
I don't think glue ever came apart on my Keds when I was 12..... Now by time my $40. sneakers
are worn out, they also include $18. of Shoe-Goo on them....

That one posted above looks like a nice quality unit....
