You mean a VIDIMAGIC unit...
I have one. What an interesting projector!! It is color, with only one CRT, and it does NOT use a shadow mask. Instead the beam is commutated to the correct phospor strip, by the position picked up from an "index phospor", which is behind the main phospor, and glows green. It can be seen EASILY. The light from this is sent back to a couple of "windows " on each side of the bell, and picked up by photosensors. From here, a board with a BUNCH of Small scale TTL IC's is used to convert that info into the proper guidance signals.
Mine works, but is NOT very bright, a darkened room is needed to ust it right. On the one end, is a lens, on the other, is a Beta VCR.
