When I was younger I liked old refrigerators. It's a pitty that I dind't got one. During "Marea Debarasare" ("The big/great rid off") a lot of electronics and household appliances ened up at scrap. I have such a collecting center in the neiberghood and seen a lot of stuff there... managed just to save a few electronics. I never looked if some one was dumb enogh to throw away a prewar one... didn't had in 2007-2008 the ideea for looking for one.
A guy that I know have 2 x "Z.I.L." (soviet made) refrigerators from the '60's. Both where white, but one got painted red.  I'm looking for a '60's-'70's washing machine. Fully automatic. Probably I could found one (if I had the money) back then, but I dind't knew that new washing machines will be crap, so I didn't looked.
