the chassis number should be stamped somewhere on the back of the chassis. It may have faded from age, but its most likely there.

just send a pic and these guys will tell you the chassis number.they are sharp! the best techs in the world are in this forum!

Well I can't see the chassis as the owner is scared to take the back off and I am not in Texas.

But here is a pic of the set. Perhaps that can give a clue. It doesn't strike me as a CTC-15 or 16 because of the faceplate design. I am hoping it is a 12 or 11.

Anyway, thanks for the help.
