I been sittin' here in this dingy ol' junkshop for WAY too long...I need someone to buy me 'n' gimme a good home, 'n' fix me so's I'll play again...Please, Mister, you KNOW you want me...Some doofus kid's gonna knock me off this shelf otherwise, & then that'll be the end of me...Whaddya say, pal ? Come on, I'm ONLY 25 bux"...And guess what..Another Old Soldier has found a "sucker"...(grin)

I found a great $5 radio today at the local tradelot! It's an AIRLINE 62-230 and man is it rough, but the cabinet is great!
Like you said, this radio actually said to me "take me home". No one should pass a $5 old tube radio at all, its unhuman to do that! Anybody into novelty radios??
