Yes, Old1625, I agree that the CRT is of much later era. I have not taken the back off it, and probably wont till something wants me to, as all caps have been replaced and everything works great. I lugged it in the house, I am amazed by the light weight and compact design. I bear hugged it to lift it out of my truck, and did the same to get it in the house. Looking for a correct style Phono for it now.

Shining up the set
It started raining on me while I was mowing the lawn, so I went in the house and grabbed all the knobs and brightwork hardware on the set. Then headed to the garage to polish them up on the wheel. Also, you may notice the set has a better appearance. Wood Finish stain marker used in light applications and followed by an entire paste wax of the cabinet. Still looking for an original turntable for it. But I am enjoying this set very much. And yes, that is Elvis's legs next to it.
