That's a really cool Air Chief, looks like it might be an export model, what with the numerous short wave bands and the universal power transformer.
The band switch on the rear of the Emerson is pretty cool too. I think Emerson did that with a number of their smaller sets. Good haul all the way around! Gilbert

You're probably correct that it is an export model.
The Air Chief is model number 4A39. The only place I can find any information on this model is in Riders Volume 20. As far as the Emerson, they made many similar models in the 1934 to 1936 time period. I don't know yet which model number this is. |
