I have seen micas go bad and drift up so if this coil is that critical then the mica has to be right and it is in an oscillating circuit which bangs around capacitors and there is the 220pf as well. I don’t know how far a mica can drift befor if just won’t work in this coil. I found nothing else in and around v21 that is bad.and these rainbows is a direct cause of the oscillator being out of frequency there is nothing else that would hint to making rainbows and or not locking in.
