Re-cap advice

Can I get some advice on the best online supplier of capacitors? I'm going to go ahead and replace all of the caps in my 58 Zenith Space Command that I mentioned in previous posts. Can I also get some input on the best types to use as replacements. I have only used regular electrolytics and orange drops from the local electronics store. I have heard the orange drops are dependable but are there better options without going too pricey. This will be my my first complete re-cap. Wish me luck!

Orange Drops are nice but they are designed for Printed Circuit board mounting and are difficult to use in most old TV's.

I use the yellow tubulars sold by AES http://www.tubesandmore.com/

or Bob's Antique Radios.

They are smaller than the originals even at higher voltages, I use the 630 volt ones for everything 600v or less.
The leads are soft and easily manipulated into tight places, (unlike Orange Drops).

Cheap electrolytics are available in most voltages from Mouser. http://www.mouser.com
Have them send you a catalog then you can place the order online easily.

Recently All Electronics had .022/630 volt blue caps for 20 cents each. You may need to check their web site to verify availability now. I have had success paralleling 2 of those and using them to sub for .047 in non-frequency-determining circuits. They also had a good deal on 22mfd/450 v. electrolytics at about $1.25 each.

I have had good luck with both radiodaze & justradios. AES is fine too, just on the expensive side & long shipping to the east coast.
