Magnavox 27" combo with the Phantom

Carmine talking about neck issues reminded me of one time when I delivered a new Magnavox Combo (They called them "Theatres") out on a three day home demonstration. I got a call the next day from the prospective customer wanting to know how much a new picture tube cost. They had a large painting hanging on the wall behind the set and sure enough it fell during the night shaving the neck off the CRT which IIRC was a 25AP22. They bought the set and a new CRT. During the 70's we'd run across a 27 incher every now and then, but they weren't all that common even when they were new.
