Need a power transformer for Philco 50 or 51

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area, but then it may not be. I'm in need of a good used power transformer for a Philco model 50 it runs 3 #24 / 1#47/ and 1#80 I believe the model 51 is the same chassis. The spec. shows it to be, 1&2 105to125v/ 3&5 2.5v/ 6&7 5.v/ 8&10 700.v/ 4center tap 3&5/9center tap 8&10 any help would be appreciated. Thanks By the way I'm in Phoenix , Arizona

Wirenut here, the guy who was working on the radio said the tranny was shot. I picked it up and read up on rewinding the trans, I removed it and ohms test the leads and there was no short, reinstalled it removed a cap that was installed it seems years ago, bam the radio plays, I installed a temp cap ran the thing for 3 hours, plays great.

Welcome to AK. This place is great. I am also in the PHX area. I have a Model 49 Philco that is AM only and has a record player with 2 tone arms. Haven't been able to find a lot of info on it so far and since it appears to be all tubes underneath I am waiting for a variac (NOS, still on origional packing pallet.)that is supposedly enroute from back East before I dig into it. This is my first foray into old radios. Here's a link to a couple pics.

The Philco 49-1504 is a 1949 model, and service information can be found in Sams Photofact folder 54-24. Your library may be able to get you a copy.

You can also get the Riders manual pages here: http://www.nostalgiaair.org/Resources/646/M0013646.htm
