1950 Motorola Televison Commercial
I recently found this commercial for the 1950 Motorolo TV Combo, thought you guys might like to see it...

The commercial in the previous post came from a TV program called the Four Star Review from December 1950. In the middle of this hour long variety show Hal March and Jack Carson (at least I think its Jack Carson) did a three minute commercial for Motorola televisions disguised as a comedy routine, imbedded right in the show. The two of them literally ripped apart a 1951 19" Motorola round screen set, maybe a 19AP4? It rather funny and very fun to watch, TV advertising TV in its infancy.
Anyway, I've been meaning to get around to digitizing and sharing this clip for a while, so finally here it is. For those of you with fast internet connections, this Windows Media Video file is 7mb.  I love Christmas TV! I also like that combo. Seems like Moto was ahead of the game with their sets.
