It looks very similar to a set I saw in a 3 stooges short. I can't remember the name of it, but the stooges were plumbers working ina luxury estate.
A lady was displaying her new television to her friends. They were standing by to receive live pictures of niagra falls when a blast of real water came through the screen and plastered her to the floor. YOu could only guess who was responsible

It's just a commercial version of the regular old common RCA projection set. If it were a 741PCS, MAYBE it could bring $850 in mint condition. But that guy just likes to make eBay stock holders happy by racking up big listing fees.
