Crosley radios, restore or not?

Hi all,
My expertise in antique radios is much more limited than my knowledge of older stereo gear, even though I have done a few vintage radio restorations before.

I just purchased a HUGE quantity of old electronic parts, tubes, etc. from a gentleman whose father used to run a radio repair shop. Included in the batch were these two Crosley radio chassis, both of which will need a TON of work to get going, and when I asked GordonW his opinion, he suggested posting a couple photos here and seeing what the congregation thinks. I do not have the power supply for the smaller AM/FM radio. Any advice/info appreciated!

Usually, when I find a chassis without a case, I save it for parts for another project. If these had cabinets, I'd come near telling you to restore them. But, that's just my opinion.

The (postwar) AM-FM is likely of little interest to collectors. The round dial shortwave one was a high-end set for its time - but has little value without a cabinet - maybe a parts source for someone that already has one.
