Now, I've really done it.

I have added lots of digital pics to my website. the shitty vidcaps on my early restorations are still there since they are the only pics I have. The color sets finally made it to the site, at least, some of them. The Hallicrafters is done and doccumented.

Nice sets! Did you get that Zenith roundie off ebay? It looks familiar...

The Zenith roundie was given to me by a friend who is/was in the TV repair biz in the early 90's. He also gave me a replacement CRT for it. The majority of the sets on my site were scored in the last year or so. The ones in my mother's basement were ones i had for several years.

Hey Big Dave, finally made it over to your site. Even read your "about me site". Great minds think alike... So where are the old Chrysler pictures?

My site...

Big Dave, PLEASE, PLEASE understand this in no way isn't directed at you, but... SOMEBODY NEEDS TO TAKE THE NUMBNUT B*ST*RDS THAT RUN "GEOCITIES" OUT & MURDER THEM IN LONG, AGONIZING, HORRIBLE DEATHS...I would use Geocities if you didn't have to deal w/those infernal pop-ups-1/2 the time you CANNOT make 'em go away..When I went to yr site, they dog-knotted my computer up & it wouldn't respond, short of turning the power off. Good Gawd, I HATE Geocities !!!Grrrrrrrrrr...-Sandy G.

I was curious if it was from ebay because my friend sold the exact one last year to someone in Ohio and I thought it might have been you. Glad to see there are more of these old Zenith sets around!

Sandy,

Go to webwasher.com and download their free software. It blocks all pop-ups (and lots of additional annoyances) on all the "popup" sites I've visited.

You don't have to run it all the time, I just load it when I'm browsing unknown sites and those I know will pop-up all over my screen.

Nothing shows when I visited Dave's site.

Chuck

just put geocities in the restricted sites zone if using ie.
no activex no javascript=no popups and crap.

Carmine,

To give you an answer, the old Chrysler, actually, Dodge, I have is in my mother's garage disassembled. It is a 79 Aspen 2DR coupe. When I got it, it was that "lovely" mustard yellow (and i ain't talking French's). The body has since been painted a different color. Unfortunately, I have not been able to do anything for the last 3 years since i had to mocve to get decent work. There it sits, (possibly) rusting away. I did remove the slant 6 K-member and put on a smallblock K. That's as far as I got. If I can ever buy a house (the Mob won't even finance me, much less a bank), I'll get it down here and get back to work on it. As far as pics, they may find a place on my site. They would only be "after" shots.
