Zenith engineer's estate to be liquidated...
Moderator, please bump this to the correct forum(s) if need be as I was not sure where to post this.
A woman I worked with a few years ago called me and said they were liquidating her grandfathers estate. He was a Zenith engineer, and she said there are several Zenith TV's, which she is going to get model numbers for, and a tube caddy full of what appear to be NOS Zenith tubes. Some of the tubes I am familiar with as I use them in my stereo's, however there appear to be alot of TV tubes. Would there be anybody here looking for particular TV tubes? There may be other parts available however she is just digging thru this stuff now. I will post the model numbers of the TV's once she has given them to me for anybody who is interested. Jon

I wonder if the estate has any significant papers of historical import. Please plead for preserving this and any other pertinent goodies, so often this stuff gets tossed out when the family cleans house.

She has a friend that wants to make the tubes into some sort of craft project. I told her not to do that, although, some of the tubes may not be worth much. I might add that the tube caddy is a factory Zenith item with associated logos. I am still waiting for her to get back to me on the TV models. I may go down there this week to get some pictures .
