Imcaradio Serie II Multigamma Mod. 871

Here's something really unusual to see each other. This Imcaradio Series II Multigamma Mod. IF 871 is made in 1939 in Italy in Alessandria. Has 69 years and after a restoration has taken to function perfectly. It was necessary replacement all cables, electrical insulation, capacitors elettrolitycs, rope line, some resistance, cleaning contacts,
The rotating drum with 6 ranges wave is of a patent Imcaradio exclusive. Mounts the following tubes: 80 - 42 -75 - 6D6 - 76 - 6L7 - 6D6
The serial number is 0304.
The Cabinet is partial because this radio was collected in a piece of furniture where there were a turntable and loudspeakers,

Neat radio, looks like you have a "magic eye" tube to tune it with. I always found that many old radios made in Europe had interesting styles.

yes is frequently find these indicators in the field are often European radio tube. This radio has a magic eye not a tube, but magnetic. in practice within the mechanism there is a copper blows that if it is energized by the signal field ago to move a small flag which, illuminated from behind, projected on a sort of slow its shadow, creating the effect magic eye, I had to restore this component because it was locked, now works beautifully!

You might send your pictures (and schematic, if you have one) to radiomuseum.org. Your model is listed, but there is no information there except for year and list of tubes.

exact, at the time that you rotate the drum feel of electric shocks on the speaker due to contacts of the drum and part fixed exchange
